We are once again saluting Sheffield’s NHS health heroes working on the frontline to help keep us all safe and healthy during the coronavirus pandemic.
They are the people who are working tirelessly around the clock to keep our National Health Service – and our country – running and every single one of them cannot be praised enough.
We are celebrating our key worker heroes, and we’ve asked you to highlight the brave individuals and teams you know who are working on the frontline.
Here’s a lineup of some Sheffield #healthheroes we should all applaud.
We’ve had an overwhelming response, so if we missed your nominee out, we’ll try to give them the shout out they deserve in the days to come.
Click through our picture gallery to see if you can spot yourself or somebody you may know – and don’t forget to show your appreciation for all our key workers at 8pm today by taking part in the nationwide #clapforourcarers.

"This is my twin sister Louise Purcell who is a domestic at the Northern General Hospital. She is working overtime every day to help keep the hospital free from germs and as clean as can be! She works so hard alongside her fellow domestics. I'm so proud of her work ethic and how much effort she puts in every day! She's my health hero," says twin sister Stacey Box. Photo: Stacey Box
12. Holly Markham-Dorney, Northern General Hospital
"This is my little hero, Holly Markham-Dorney. Holly is a staff nurse at the Northern General Hospital and puts EVERYTHING into the work she does... she has had the toughest shifts looking after the most vulnerable patients and deserves all the recognition she can get," says close friend Jenna Hawksworth.
