End of an area as well known venue plans to close
A well loved Sheffield cafe has announced plans to close after nearly a decade serving its community.
The Crooked Cafe in Crookes has been operating out of its site on the main road serving wholesome staples for years.

But a notice in the window has confirmed that it will close for the last time later this month.
It states: “Update on our closure. After more than nine happy years , it is time to say thank you and goodbye.”
It lists the remaining opening days as Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, describing those as “our last days”.
The building has been used a cafe for many years, and before it became Crooked Cafe, it had been Carole Ann’s, Cafe Revolution, Nana’s Kitchen, and The Bay Tree.
