Bosses at the venue described the grand reopening as a roaring success, and praised The Handsworth Sword Dancers, who cut the ribbon at the re-opening , for ‘officially opening the doors in style’.

The Handsworth Sword Dancers are one of the longest-running folk dance teams in the country.

The pub, which is branded as a Flaming Grill pub, features a multi-screen sports wall, Interactive darts and a new open-plan space.

It was closed for nearly a month while the refurbishment was carried out. It has been fully rebranded as part of a six-figure investment.
