The city’s venues have held some stellar exhibitions over the past 20 years – so, as a timely reminder until the venues can reopen again, here are 10 of the best.
1. Francis Bacon

4. Robert Mapplethorpe
The pictures of American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe were shown as part of the Artist Rooms initiative at the Graves Gallery in 2009-10.
