Here are Owls writer Dom Howson's player ratings (only players with more than five appearances this season have been included):
13. George Boyd 5.5
The wide man found game time hard to come by under previous boss Luhukay. He was recalled by Lee Bullen and managed 25 appearances. Boyd is in a group of six out-of-contract players being released by Wednesday. Photo: JP
14. Marco Matias 6
He enjoyed his best year in Owls colours in terms of numbers, playing 34 times and scoring seven goals. Ultimately, Matias did not do enough to earn a new contract and the Portuguese winger will be seeking a new club this summer. Photo: jp
15. Rolando Aarons 6
Added speed, dynamism and unpredictability to Wednesday's forward line after joining on a temporary basis from Premier League Newcastle United. A troublesome ankle problem prevented him from making a bigger impact. Photo: Steve Ellis
16. Adam Reach 6.5
Nine goals, seven assists and the club's leading appearance maker. Although Reach's displays occasionally flattered to deceive, his eye for the spectacular earned him plenty of plaudits. A key man in this team. Photo: JP
