The 80s and 90s were no exception, as Sheffield’s nightclubs reverberated to the beat of those decades’ latest musical fashions, from R&B to hip hop and new romantic to Britpop. Most people from Sheffield of a certain age will recognise at least some of these photos of nightclubs from the era, and while the clubs may be long-closed, many of the buildings have survived and remain well-recognised and cherished city landmarks.
