Sheffield distillery marks start of 10th anniversary celebrations with garden Pprty
Multi-award-winning Sheffield Distillery will kick off the countdown to its 10th anniversary this Saturday with a special Garden Party celebration at The Commercial Pub in Chapeltown.
The event, running from 2pm until 8pm, celebrates nearly a decade of producing award-winning spirits in Sheffield. In recent years, the distillery has collected multiple national and international accolades, was crowned Yorkshire Distillery of the Year at the My Local Awards 2025/26, shortlisted for the Henderson's Relish Made in Sheffield Exposed Award, and was recently voted one of Sheffield's top 18 local businesses by readers of The Star.
Guests will have the chance to tour the distillery, which is based in the garden of The Commercial Pub, meet the distillers, enjoy guided tastings of Sheffield Distillery's award-winning range and take part in cocktail masterclasses. The Garden Party will also feature the exclusive launch of a brand-new Sheffield Distillery product, with attendees enjoying the first and only opportunity to taste it. Guests who wish to do so will also be able to purchase the limited release, which will be available exclusively at the Garden Party and will not go on wider sale.
Although online bookings have now closed, a limited number of places remain available at £32.50 per person. Tickets include tastings throughout the event and can be booked by emailing [email protected].
The celebration will also feature music from Chapeltown's internationally streamed beer-themed radio station Ale & Radio, who will be making a special local announcement during the afternoon. Visitors can also browse local businesses including artisan chocolatiers Cocoa Drop and Yorkshire Prize Club, while food will be available throughout the day from The Commercial Pub, including its popular Chap Butties with a choice of toppings.
