MUMentum supports Weston Park Cancer Charity and their care for mums
An event to support Weston Park Cancer Charity and celebrate local women has been planned.

It has been organised by author, speaker and clarity coach, Sophie Harris, from Wingerworth, who started her business in early 2025 when she found her passion for helping other mums in business.
Sophie is well versed in overcoming life’s challenges, as a mum who has battled several health conditions herself and is also a carer for her elderly family members.

When looking for a charity that supports mums to partner with, Weston Park Cancer Charity reached out with inspiring stories of mums and families they have helped with cancer treatment and research.
Sophie said: “It was important for us to choose a local charity that supports mums in some way as that is the heart of what MUMentum® is all about.
"When Weston Park reached out, I thought it was meant to be.
“I know several people who have received amazing support from the charity, and I have a few friends who Weston Park supported through a cancer diagnosis and treatment.”
The MUMentum® event will include a day conference, featuring Sophie’s book launch and details of her new Mumentum® Academy course and community, as well as other inspiring guest speakers.
The evening of the event will include entertainment, dancing, food and a celebration of all the mums attending.
Weston Park Cancer Charity will feature at the evening celebration, where proceeds of the charity raffle will go towards funding their cause.
Bekah Antsey, corporate partnerships manager at Weston Park Cancer Charity said: “We’re delighted to be the chosen charity for MUMentum 2026. At Weston Park Cancer Charity, we’re here to support people through every step of their cancer journey, providing practical, emotional and financial support alongside funding vital research and improvements to cancer care.
"We’re incredibly grateful to Sophie and everyone taking part in MUMentum 2026 for supporting our work and helping us be there for families across our region.”
