Another crowd of more than 30,000 turned out at Hillsborough to watch Sheffield Wednesday’s draw against Blackpool, just hours after new manager Dave Challinor was confirmed.
Challinor was pictured in the directors’ box on Sunday as the 10-man Owls, who led through Davis Keillor-Dunn before Sil Swinkels was sent off, were pegged back late on when Jerry Yates poked in.
The Armed Forces were honoured before kick-off as part of Remembrance Day, with The Last Post played and a special Poppy design featured on the North Stand.
