Guest speaker Jak Carr, who had a stroke at the age of 47 in 2021, will share his personal story of recovery and how it has shaped his outlook on the future, followed by a chance for attendees to ask questions.

Beyond the talk, the event is designed simply to bring people together over tea, coffee and a light lunch - to share experiences, pick up practical advice and build new friendships with people who truly understand life after stroke.

Places are free, but numbers are limited, and with booking closing next week, organisers are encouraging anyone interested to reserve their spot as soon as possible.
