Tramlines 2026: All the items you're banned from taking inside including large bags, cable ties and megaphones
Thousands are expected to descend on Hillsborough Park for this year’s Tramlines Festival
The organisers of Tramlines have offered clarification on what festival goers can and cannot bring with them to the festival at Hillsborough Park this weekend.
The Tramlines Festival marks one of the highlights of the musical calendar for Sheffield due to its ability to provide the perfect mixture between star-studded musicians, up-and-coming artists, DJ’s, comedians and everything in between.

It’s set to be attended by thousands of people over the next three days with tickets selling out.
As such, there’s lots of security in place to ensure that everyone has a good time while also remaining as safe as possible.
One of those measures is banning people from entering Hillsborough Park if they are in possession of any illegal substances and any items that can be used as a weapon such as sharp objects and knives.

No food or drink is permitted at the festival, with the exception of a 500ml sealed bottle of water and baby food.
Those attending the festival are also warned not to bring their own seats, alcohol or any form of drugs.
Anyone who is found to be in possession of drugs, legal highs, pyros or weapons, will be refused entry and may be arrested.
