Over the summer, many teens may be left wondering what to do with themselves before school starts again this September.
Especially considering this month’s amazing weather, teens may want to get out of the house yet find themselves puzzled as to what they can do to make their summer far more interesting.
Many interesting events are happening that should spark the interest of Sheffield’s youth, with lots of exciting things to explore.
As a teenager myself, I have composed a list of seven of the most exciting events going on in...

1. National Video Game Museum
The national video game museum is currently home to a new exhibition by the name of ‘Together we play’. The exhibition celebrates the stories behind the video games at the museum and features new commissioned artwork based off the stories of and the games themselves. The exhibition also celebrates the video game community more broadly and involves many iconic video game stories predominantly from the 1960s and 80s. | Iconic Media

2. The Great Escape Game
The Great Escape Game offers immersive Escape room experiences from £19 per person. The Escape Room centre is located in Sheffield City centre, on Vicar Lane, with experiences available for ages 11 and up. The centre also hosts an experience called the Haunted Hound game, which is available for free and takes users on a “spine-chilling adventure” which “blends eerie storytelling with fiendish puzzles, all within a lively social setting”. | Iconic Media
