Light Up Sheffield: Pete McKee's art covers Sheffield landmarks as free event fills the city this Christmas
Nights in Sheffield are set to be a bit brighter this Christmas, as a free event takes over the city.
Landmarks across Sheffield will be illuminated with new art over the next few evenings.
The projections will be beamed onto Sheffield Cathedral, Sheffield Central Library and the Reverie mural by Peachzz at Pounds Park daily, from 5-9pm, until December 14.

The Cathedral is being lit up with a bespoke display created by Double Take Projections, while music by the cathedral’s choir plays as a backing track.
Inside, visitors can see a joyful new nativity-themed artwork created by internationally acclaimed city artist Pete McKee.

At Pounds Park, the Reverie wildlife mural by Peachzz is brought to life with digital animations and a soundtrack by Sheffield DJ Charla Green.
The project has been organised in partnership with Sheffield Cathedral, Sheffield City Council, Sheffield BID and The Art House.
