Jarvis Cocker's new band announce date of first album and tour
A band created by Sheffield music legend Jarvis Cocker have announced the release date of their debut album and their first tour.
The band, called ‘Jarv Is’ will release their first album, “Beyond the Pale” on May 1 via Rough Trade Records. The album will be available on LP/CD/Cassette.
The group, featuring Jarvis Cocker on vocals, guitar and percussion, Serafina Steer on harp, keyboards and vocals, Emma Smith on violin, guitar and vocals, Andrew McKinney on bass and vocals, Jason Buckle on synthesiser and electronic treatments and Adam Betts on drums, percussion and vocals, will also head out on a UK tour in May.
The album is the first original music from Jarvis Cocker since the “Further Complications” album in 2009.
