Animal Kingdom Drone Show coming to South Yorkshire - Britain's Got Talent’s star is playing a key role
WILD: The Drone Light Show, is coming to Wentworth Woodhouse
A large-scale outdoor drone spectacle that all the family can enjoy is coming to South Yorkshire later this year.
Taking place at Wentworth Woodhouse near Rotherham on 31 October, WILD: The Drone Light Show will see hundreds of illuminated drones take to the sky, creating vivid depictions of beloved animals belonging to four wild worlds: desert, ocean, arctic, and jungle.
Created by this year’s Britain's Got Talent runner-up Celestial, and produced by experience company Yuup , the show which was launched last year has attracted more than 15,000 audience reviews with an average 4.9-star rating.

Now it’s aiming to build on that success by combining cutting-edge drone technology with cinematic music to curate an incredible immersive experience for people of all ages.
Dominic Mills, Founder of Yuup said: “With WILD, we set out to capture the wonder of the natural world and put audiences at the heart of it.
“When we asked our audiences what they most wanted to see in a drone show, the answer was clear: the animal kingdom. That inspired a journey across deserts, oceans, arctic worlds and jungles, brought vividly to life in the night sky — from penguins to polar bears.”

Tickets go on general sale next Thursday July 21, but audiences can join the waitlist via the Fever app and www.wilddroneshow.com to be the first to hear when they’re available.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy a pre-show event village featuring food, drinks and entertainment before the main performance begins after dark.
Unlike traditional fireworks displays, the show contains no loud bangs, making it a quieter experience for audiences while reducing disruption to pets and wildlife.
John Partridge, Director of Celestial added: “Our vision has always been to push the boundaries of live entertainment through storytelling, innovation and wonder.
“The incredible response to our shows on TV has cemented our dedication to bring more shows to live audiences across the UK and we’re excited to share a drone show that inspires people of all ages to look up, dream bigger and experience something truly unforgettable together.”
The show, which is expected to be about 40 minutes long, comes as part of a national tour, which also includes Southampton, Worcester, and Ipswich. For all locations and dates, visit www.wilddroneshow.com.
