Sheffield Sharks have a new back-of-shirt sponsor
New Era Development is proud to announce its renewed support of the Sheffield Sharks for the Men’s 2026/27 Super League Basketball season, this year as the back-of-jersey sponsor.
This week, the Sheffield Sharks team visited New Era Square to celebrate the sponsorship announcement with the New Era Development team. Speaking on the announcement, Fahro Alihodzic, captain of the Sheffield Sharks said: “It’s really good having the sponsors and the community on board with the Sheffield Sharks.
“We appreciate the togetherness of the city and we just want to get everyone together and behind us.”
Jerry Cheung, Managing Director at New Era Development, said: “As an organisation, we are thrilled to be once again supporting the Sheffield Sharks through a season-long sponsorship deal.
“As part of the Sheffield business community, we want to do as much as possible to support some of the city’s incredible sporting teams and independent businesses who make Sheffield the vibrant hub that it is.
“Sponsoring the Sheffield Sharks also opens up wider opportunities for us as a business, and this season we’ll once again be taking a group of students who live on site at New Era Living to enjoy a match at the Canon Medical Arena, as part of our wider programme of activities for our residents.
“We can’t wait to be back at the arena watching the Sheffield Sharks when the team are back in action at the end of the month, and we hope to see plenty of people joining us to throw their support behind the team.”
The B.Braun Sheffield Sharks season will be kicking off on 27 September at the Canon Medical Arena, where they’ll be taking on rivals Caledonian Gladiators, with tip-off scheduled for 4pm.
