Eighteen years ago today, Sheffield United shocked the mighty Liverpool when two late goals gave the Blades a 2-1 victory in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final.

Michael Tonge, a rumoured Liverpool target at the time, scored both goals at the Bramall Lane end, after Neil Mellor had put the Reds ahead.
Liverpool turned it around in extra time of the second leg at Anfield, but it remains one of many memorable evenings under the Bramall Lane lights that season. But what happened to the United side from that evening?
