Sheffield Tigers speedway: Belle Vue first up at Owlerton as 2023 fixtures announced

Tigers missed out on the Speedway Premiership title last season by just a two point margin, after beating the Aces at Owlerton in the second leg, leaving them agonisingly short, although they did later claim silverware themselves by winning the league cup.

But the team’s fixtures, announced today, reveal he first league meeting of the season in 2023 at Owlerton will be a home clash with Belle Vue on March 23. The last home fixture before the playoffs is scheduled to be Wolverhampton, on Thursday August 24.

It will be a first league outing for new signing David Bellego since his return to the club, and also a first premiership appearance for the club for the new rising star, Dan Gilkes.
