Swindon Town man Akin Odimayo, who was a favourite of Owls legend John Sheridan during his time managing the club, is approaching the end of his contract in Wiltshire but according to a Football League World report is of interest to both Wednesday and South Yorkshire side Doncaster Rovers.

Hide AdThe Robins, relegated from League One last season, have confirmed that they have offered a contract to the 21-year-old, though a deal does not appear to be close at current.
Odimayo, a London-born centre-half, started out at Reading and enjoyed loan spells at non-league Hungerford Town and Irish side Waterford.
After his release by the Royals at the end of the 2019/20 season, he joined Swindon on a short-term contract and made 33 appearances in all competitions.
Centre-half is certainly a position Moore will be looking to strengthen after the departure of Tom Lees. Fellow defenders Osaze Urhoghide and Julian Börner look likely to follow him out of the door in the coming weeks.

It is understood they are working hard behind the scenes to set up a recruitment charge ahead of the release of 10 senior players at the end of the month.
