Speaking after the 1-0 defeat to Preston, Pulis explained, “I know Gards well… I’ve worked with Gards at West Brom, he’s infectious. He’s a good lad and a good coach.
“He’s had two years of good experience with Birmingham at this level and I always like to bring in a young coach with me wherever I’ve been, I’ve always felt that was worth it.”

“Most recently with Celtic, but he’s been involved in other clubs as well so he’s an experienced lad, I respect him, I trust him and he will help with the recruitment in the years to come.”
Next up for Wednesday is a trip to Swansea City this week as they look to try and get back to winning ways.
