Sheffield Wednesday’s system change, crowd jeers and olés - Owls moments you may have missed
and live on Freeview channel 276
Wednesday were second best in so many departments at Hillsborough as Devante Cole and James Norwood scored a goal in each half to give the Tykes South Yorkshire bragging rights once again.
It was far from a good day at the office and plenty of people went home very disappointed with not just the defeat, but the manner of it…
Here’s a few moments you may – or may not – have missed:

Hide AdBooing, plenty of booing
There were boos at half time, boos at full time, boos during substitutions, and it was blatantly clear that Wednesdayites were not happy with what they were seeing.
An air of optimism was buzzing around Hillsborough before kick off, and the Hi Ho Silver Lining was the loudest that it’s been all season as around 28,000 people took their seats.
But it was clear early on that the Owls weren’t going to have an easy day at the office. Things didn’t stick for them, their passing was loose and they simply couldn’t get things going. Frustration started to kick in quite early from the supporters.
The jeers are half time are nothing new, we’ve heard it plenty of times before, and the same at full time. Fans showed their displeasure at a performance that frankly wasn’t good enough.

The fans, it would appear, wanted the number 11 to stay on the pitch – so they made themselves heard.
All change – but no change to the result
With Wednesday chasing the game, Moore made changes to the playing personnel but also the way that the team was set up.
He brought on Wilks, Alex Mighten and Reece James, with the latter replacing Mark McGuinness in a change that did seem to be an odd one at the time.

Having played 3-5-2 all game, the changes he made saw him switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Smith leading the line and Lee Gregory behind him, as Wilks and Mighten took their places out wide. George Byers and Barry Bannan sat as the two midfielders.
Five minutes later, however, Norwood was left entirely unmarked in the box and scored the second goal – making their task even harder.
The away fans revelling in it
Barnsley haven't won back-to-back home games at Hillsborough since just after the Second World War, so obviously they were going to enjoy their victory at Hillsborough this weekend.

Barnsley made less passes, less key passes, had worse pass completion and substantially less possession. But they had the stat that counts. Goals.
