Owls fans will be keen to get their hands on Leyton Orient away tickets

Ticket details for Sheffield Wednesday’s first game of the new season have been confirmed.

The Owls travel to Leyton Orient on Saturday, August 15, hoping to get off to a positive start as they begin life back in League One with new ownership and virtually a new squad of players.

Despite Wednesday’s massive rebuilding job, the bookies still have them as second favourites to win the title, behind Leicester City. Excitement is growing as the countdown to the 2026/2027 campaign edges closer and fans can now start planning their first away day.

Wednesday are no strangers to League One in modern times, unfortunately, so supporters are used to smaller ticket allocations and the trip to Orient will only allow for 1,250 Owls fans to be in the away end, which means thousands who want to attend won’t be able to, sadly.

Prices for the much-anticipated fixture are as follows:

- Adults: £30

- 65 and over: £28

- 18-24: £28

- Under 18: £13
