“You can't ever take your foot off the pedal. It is another important 12 months for me but I am relishing the challenge.”
Asked whether his heart is set on an extended stay at Wednesday, Harris said: “I love the club so I definitely would like to stay.
“It is a massive club and hopefully we can have a good season and we can perform well.”

Hide AdSpeaking about his targets for the season, which looks set to take place as a wing-back in Garry Monk’s favoured 3-5-2 system, the aim is clear: “I want more goals and assists.
“It is a tough one because it is not as easy as it sounds.
“There were times post lockdown where I felt I performed really well but that was overshadowed with us not getting the wins or scoring the goals that I should have done.
“Performances sometimes don't get credit when you don't win so I will definitely be working on getting more assists and goals this season.”
