Sheffield Wednesday rumours: Owls plot double transfer swoop, Southampton could beat West Ham to £25m-rated striker

Olamide Shodipo became the latest player to join yesterday, arriving on a season-long loan from QPR. Youngsters David Agbontohoma and Dennis Adeniran are the other two fresh faces to join the club, ahead of what should be an enthralling 2021/22 League One campaign.

Meanwhile, the Owls got their pre-season run of friendlies off to a solid start on Saturday afternoon, putting in a confident performance as they defeated Chester 2-0.

Spurs are said to have set an asking price of £5m for their defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, amid interest from the likes of Cardiff City and Fulham.
