Sheffield Wednesday suffered a second successive 3-0 defeat on Sunday afternoon, being put to the sword by QPR at Loftus Road.
Two goals from substitute Rayan Kolli, who fired in both efforts in the second half, and one from Rumarn Burrell sealed a convincing win for the Hoops, meaning Wednesday’s winless run now stands at 19 games.
Wednesday, who are hoping to bring in some fresh faces this month, were second best for much of the first half, failing to test former Owl Ben Hamer in the QPR goal, but they were much-improved after the break, showing a desire and willingness to take the game to their hosts.
However, gaping holes in their defence were exploited by Kolli, who fired in two fantastic efforts to put the contest to bed.
Here is how we rated the players at Loftus Road:

5. Sean Fusire - 6
Came back into the starting XI for the first time since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and he was tasked with dealing with the dangerous Saito. Contributed to an improved second half from the Owls, showing plenty of driving force from right wing-back to try and get Wednesday up the pitch. | UGC

6. Jarvis Thornton - 5
Banked a fourth successive start and was tasked with trying to offer some steel in midfield. Snapped at some heels and tried to offer some grit to make life difficult for QPR in the engine room. He was withdrawn just over ten minutes after half-time. | UGC

7. Barry Bannan - 5
Tried to play some trademark diagonal balls to get Wednesday in behind QPR's defence, but he was often wasteful with the ball, which is unusual for him. He has been worked into the ground in recent months and he is bound to be experiencing fatigue. Required treatment in the second half but continued through to the finish. | UGC

8. Harry Amass - 7
A bright spark for Wednesday for much of the afternoon, regularly showing for the ball to try and get the Owls up the pitch. He frequently tried to get forward from left wing-back, showing plenty of attacking intent. Fingers crossed we will see more of him in an Owls shirt. | UGC
