Sheffield Wednesday press day LIVE: Chey Dunkley and Darren Moore on Wimbledon trip

Yes and no. Sometimes it takes time.

Over the course of the week you watch information being applied, also there aren’t quite the time because of the volume of games.

Sometimes it’s not been able to do that and the games come thick and fast.

When the time comes what you want to do is get that thirst for the training ground.

DM on winning culture

That’s what we keep the focus on. We need to look at the team progressing and results.

We need to keep growing and bring this to the football club. We have to keep improving on those stats going forward and to bring a fresh mentality to the club.

We keep working extremely hard to staying consistent. It’s still relatively early, there is a load of football to be played and we keep inching one game at a time.

DM on changing the side

We’ve been changing shape and formation and we saw in pockets exceptional performances from individuals

An then there are times we’ve had to knuckle down. We’ve seen all these aspects. That’s what happens when you formulate a new team.

What we’ve been doing is looking to improve upon it. We want that to happen overnight but it takes work and that’s what we’re doing in working hard and seeing the performances come through.

DM on gelling the team

We want it to come on a regular, consistent basis. We hope it will come on Saturday, but we’re playing against opposition that want to stop what we want to do.

Sometimes games are different. We saw different games this season, we got the goal and were resolute and we played really well and got three points.

There are different games and different weeks.

We wanted to do it after the first game! For it to come after the 11th game makes no difference, we want to keep delivering.

Saturday was a good win, albeit we lost a couple of players.

Bolton are an excellent team and it makes it all that more rewarding getting three points from them, but we don’t savour it too much and we’ve another exciting encounter on Saturday.

I’ve been impressed with Joe last season. It’s not just this season.

With him stepping in and performing I’m not shocked. He’s a good goalkeeper and he’s done really, really well. Long may that continue.

We’ll assess him over the next few hours. He’s just got back today.

It would be unfair for me to talk about the goalkeeping thing now. We need to look at how Bailey is tomorrow and we need to look at the condition of the team.

We need to wait and see.

DM on fringe players

They’re ready as and when we need to call upon them. They’ve had limited gametime and have been getting their training up to where we required it to be.

They’re fit and available when asked upon.

First up injuries.

Hutch, Gibson, Luongo, Byers - all injured.

I can’t talk absence times now, they’re all injured. Gibson and Hutchinson won’t be available in the week either.

Good afternoon, Wednesdayites!
