Sheffield Wednesday were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw at home to lowly Wigan Athletic.
In a largely positive first-half for The Owls, Mason Burstow struck the woodwork from a tight angle, while the dangerous Kieran Morrison, and Yan Valery, both went close twice for the hosts. Down the other end, Joe Lumley made saves from Reggie Walsh and Jon Mellish as The Latics, who came into this clash bottom of the table, threatened on the counter-attack.
The visitors were the better side in the the second-half, Jensen Weir striking a post from distance as Wednesday lost their way, gave up possession too often, looked vulnerable and failed to create much of note until late chances for Ali Al-Hamadi and Harry Gray in added-time. They almost lost it at the death but Gabriel Otegbayo came to their rescue.
Here are our player ratings from the game...

9. Callum Slattery 5
Played off the left, probably didn't have as much as impact as he would have liked, but kept plugging away. Withdrawn on the hour. | ugc

10. Jamal Lowe 5
Won the league's player of the month award earlier this week. Played in the 10, was quiet in possession but put in plenty of work off the ball. Replaced late on. | ugc

11. Mason Burstow 7
Rattled the woodwork with a fierce drive from a tight angle early on. Mixed up his play, dropped deep and linked play and ran in behind. A handful at times. | ugc
