Sheffield Wednesday were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw at home to lowly Wigan Athletic.
In a largely positive first-half for The Owls, Mason Burstow struck the woodwork from a tight angle, while the dangerous Kieran Morrison, and Yan Valery, both went close twice for the hosts. Down the other end, Joe Lumley made saves from Reggie Walsh and Jon Mellish as The Latics, who came into this clash bottom of the table, threatened on the counter-attack.
The visitors were the better side in the the second-half, Jensen Weir striking a post from distance as Wednesday lost their way, gave up possession too often, looked vulnerable and failed to create much of note until late chances for Ali Al-Hamadi and Harry Gray in added-time. They almost lost it at the death but Gabriel Otegbayo came to their rescue.
Here are our player ratings from the game...

5. Reece James 6
Scrapped away. Got up and down. Didn't have it all his own way but stuck at it. | ugc

6. Barry Bannan 5
Quiet in the first 45 as he struggled to dictate. On the end of a nasty tackle before going close moments later with a clever flick in the second-half. Not his day. | ugc

7. Billy Mitchell 7
Kept possession tidily and worked hard. Always showed for the ball and looked after it. Recovered the ball intently. | ugc

8. Kieran Morrison 8
A bright spark. Stung the hands of Whitworth after leading a counter in the opening stages. Forced another save from distance when his options were limited. One excellent teasing low cross was begging to be turned in but no one was there. Continued to impress in the second-half, providing more dangerous crosses. | ugc
