Sheffield Wednesday will be going in search of a third successive League One victory when they face Peterborough United at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
The Owls, who produced a historic comeback to reach the League One play-off final the last time they faced Posh in May 2023, maintained their encouraging start to the season with a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday evening.
After falling behind to Cauley Woodrow’s early opener, Wednesday flipped the game on its head via goals from Louie Barry, who was later forced off with a serious ankle injury, and Jamal Lowe.
It was confirmed on Thursday that Barry will be sidelined for up to three months with ankle ligament damage, meaning Owls boss Henrik Pedersen will be forced into at least one change to his starting line-up in Cambridgeshire.
Ahead of the clash with Peterborough, The Star has had a stab at predicting how Wednesday might line up for their latest League One assignment...

1. GK: Joe Lumley
Lumley has established himself as Wednesday's No.1 this season, starting their first six matches in league and cup. Having made the No.1 spot his own, his next target will be to secure his first League One clean sheet of the season. | Getty Images

2. RB: Yan Valery
Having remained a Wednesday player this summer, the right-back spot is now Valery's to lose. He put in a strong performance against Wycombe in midweek, helping Wednesday seal an important three points, and went within a whisker of scoring. | Steve Ellis. Photo: Steve Ellis.

3. CB: Ricardo Santos
Santos missed the trip to Wycombe with an ankle complaint that he suffered against Bromley, but he has not been ruled out of the clash with Peterborough. He will, however, be subject to a late fitness test. If he gets the green light to feature, it would not be a great surprise to see him reinstated to the starting XI to provide some height and experience. | Steve Ellis

4. CB: Liam Cooper
Cooper was outstanding in the win over Wycombe, making 20 defensive contributions in total. He brings experience and leadership to the Owls' rearguard, meaning he has an important role to play this season. He should be one of the first names on the teamsheet this weekend. | Getty Images
