Duo return to Sheffield Wednesday - both are thanked for their 'contributions'

Sheffield Wednesday duo of Denny Oliver and Junior Kamwa will return to the Owls this week from their loan spell at Brighouse Town.

Oliver and Kamwa joined Brighouse last month as they went out in search of more senior minutes, something they both achieved as they played six and five games respectively over the course of the last four weeks.

The youngsters have been splitting their time between Middlewood Road and Brighouse over the last month, but will now head back to S6 on a full-time basis as they seek to try and end the season strongly for the Owls’ U21s.

Town took to Facebook to confirm the departure of the pair, thanking them for their efforts whilst wearing their colours in the Northern Premier League Division One East

The club said, “The loans of Denny Oliver and Junior Kamwa have today come to an end with the club. We thank them for their contributions over the last month and wish them all the best. Reece Wilson has also returned to Rotherham United following his 2 loan spells. We thank Reece for his contributions and wish him all the best.”

Wednesday’s U21s have six games left to play before the 2025/26 campaign comes to an end, with Brentford up next on Friday afternoon. It’s been a tough season for the side given that so many of their players have formed part of Henrik Pedersen’s first team, but they’ll be hoping to finish with a bit of a flourish.
