A very youthful Sheffield Wednesday side exited the FA Cup at the third round stage on Saturday, being beaten 2-0 by Brentford at Hillsborough.
The Premier League side, who arrived in S6 sitting fifth in the table, got the job done via goals either side of half-time from Keane Lewis-Potter and Mathias Jensen.
Lewis-Potter opened the scoring after 27 minutes, turning the ball home at the back post after being picked out at a free-kick, before Jensen doubled their advantage from the penalty spot with a thumping effort.
Wednesday, to their credit, gave as good as they had got, especially with such a young team on show. However, the result was overshadowed by the loss of goalkeeper Pierce Charles in the second half, who was forced off with an injury.
Here is how we rated Wednesday’s players out of ten:

14. Nathan Redmond - 5
Introduced after 60 minutes, replacing Shipston, and brought a save out of Valdimarsson, who was forced to get down sharply to his right to turn the ball behind for a corner. | UGC

15. Devlan Moses - N/A
Introduced with a little over ten minutes to go, replacing Cadamarteri. | UGC
