A very youthful Sheffield Wednesday side exited the FA Cup at the third round stage on Saturday, being beaten 2-0 by Brentford at Hillsborough.
The Premier League side, who arrived in S6 sitting fifth in the table, got the job done via goals either side of half-time from Keane Lewis-Potter and Mathias Jensen.
Lewis-Potter opened the scoring after 27 minutes, turning the ball home at the back post after being picked out at a free-kick, before Jensen doubled their advantage from the penalty spot with a thumping effort.
Wednesday, to their credit, gave as good as they had got, especially with such a young team on show. However, the result was overshadowed by the loss of goalkeeper Pierce Charles in the second half, who was forced off with an injury.
Here is how we rated Wednesday’s players out of ten:

9. Svante Ingelsson - 6
Handed the captain's armband, the Swede sent over a lovely cross prior to Brentford's opener that was crying out for a touch. As ever, he ran himself into the ground, offering Wednesday the running power they needed to get themselves up the pitch. | UGC

10. Charlie McNeill - 5
Registered Wednesday's first shot on target after 32 minutes, testing Hakon Valdimarsson from 25 yards with a left-footed effort. Tried to drop deep at times and get on the ball to make things happen. He struggled to influence proceedings in the second half as Brentford dominated. | UGC

11. Bailey Cadamarteri - 5
Isolated up front for much of the game, being forced to lead the Wednesday press. He was starved of service for much of the game, but he many will argue he could have done better to try and connect with Ingelsson's first half cross. | UGC

12. Logan Stretch - 6
Given an unexpected debut in the second half, replacing Charles, Stretch was almost immediately tasked with facing a penalty. Jensen struck it so well no goalkeeper in the world would have saved it. He later made a terrific save to keep out a Lewis-Potter header from a corner. | UGC Photo: UGC
