Moore and his recruitment team don’t have the easiest of tasks at present amid a transfer embargo and ongoing unpaid wages situation, however there are hopes that those problems could be rectified in the coming weeks as the Owls boss looks to rebuild a side that has lost a lot of players since the 2020/21 campaign came to an end.

There has been some good news on the contract front with The Star previously reporting that Charles Hagan and Josh Render have agreed new deals, with Josh Dawodu’s agent previously stating that he too would be sticking around at Hillsborough.

Wednesday’s players are back at Middlewood Road today as preseason testing begins ahead of their trip to Wales, but it remains to be seen whether there will be any new faces present as they return to work.
