The Owls will be out to end their poor run of form on the road when they go up against the Royals at 3pm, with Darren Moore desperate to get his first win since taking over.

Paunovic, and his striker, George Pușcaș, say they’re expecting a difficult game against Wednesday, despite the gulf in league positions between the two. The Owls are 23rd and the Royals are fifth.

As quoted by the club’s official website, Paunovic said, “It’ll be another battle, another tough game, when we played against them earlier in the season, we know how hard we had to work, but we’ll figure it out and prepare for this one.

“It’s important to build momentum and two wins with two clean sheets in a row is very helpful.

Meanwhile, their match-winner in midweek, Pușcaș, said, “It will be a tough team on Saturday when we play against Sheffield Wednesday so the most important thing is to recover and be ready.

“Everything is possible for us; we have to take it step-by-step, game-by-game. There are 12 games left – there’s a lot of games to go, and first is on Saturday.

“I don’t usually look at the league table; I know the position we are in, and I know that we can do better and improve. If we achieve big things at the end of the season, then we will deserve to look at the table.”
