Here’s how we rated the players after a disappoining night at the DW.
1. Cameron Dawson - 6
Out quickly on a couple of occasions to snuff out attacks and confident in the air. Produced a handy save from Latics skipper Morsy before the break, another from substitute Michael Jacobs on 77 minutes. Could he have done better for the winner? Photo: Steve Ellis
2. Moses Odubajo - 5
Retained his place after a solid showing at QPR but looked the most suspect of the Owls defenders defensively. Wigan left-back Robinson got some joy early doors, which Iorfa cleaned up. Weak in the air for Lowe's winner. Photo: Steve Ellis
3. Dominic Iorfa - 6
Back in alongside Borner after a breather in the capital on Friday and for large periods looked a class above against the Championship's most goal-shy attack. Covered Odubajo on more than one occasion before the re-shuffle. Looked more comfortable in the middle. Photo: Gareth Fuller
4. Julian Borner - 5
Too soft for Wigan's equaliser, allowing handful Moore to nip in front. A slow outing by his standards both with the ball at his feet and in defence. Improved in the final periods but could have tracked Lowe better for Wigan's winner. Photo: Bradley Collyer
