Sheffield Wednesday transfer news: League One rivals add ex-England youth international

Sheffield Wednesday’s League One rivals continue to steal a march on the Owls in the transfer market while the club remain under a transfer embargo.

No fewer than six deals were confirmed on Tuesday alone, with Darren Moore yet to make a move as part of his much-needed rebuild at S6.

Sheffield Wednesday are still operating under a transfer embargo, due to the late filing of their 19/20 accounts, which means the Owls can only sign loans or free transfers.

Moore has been backed to attract good, young players to the club despite their drop in divisional status, however.

Meanwhile, Josh Windass could be the next player out of the door at Wednesday with numerous Championship clubs believed to be interested in his services.
