The Owls are looking to put behind them two disappointing defeats and claw some ground back on the playoff places.

They welcome Plymouth Argyle to Hillsborough tomorrow, a team that seem to have had the wood over them so far this season.

Skipper Barry Bannan and manager Darren Moore will handle the questions from the media. Keep it locked to the blog below for up-to-the-minute updates.

DM on the other loanees

“We hope they stay. But there is a window of opportunity for the parent clubs to call them back for their own purposes, clubs can come in with a desire to buy them. There are so many dynamics.

“You take players to help you but you know they are never our players. We bring them in to readdress a balance in the squad.”

“From our point of view we wanted to keep him. We spotted him and his flair and brought him here.

“At the same time there was a break clause that allowed them to do what they wanted with him, we had the same with our young players.

“We’re disappointed, we requested to keep him without doubt. But Wolves rang up and said they’d call him back. They had that option and they did that.

“We have to move forward.”

DM on Theo Corbeanu

“We at Wednesday were happy to keep Theo on board. We were pleased with how we aided his development and what he did with us at Wednesday.

“He’s a Wolves player. They can do as they see fit. One thing I’ll never do is guarantee players that they’ll start and play games. I don’t do that.

“I was delighted that Wolves allowed us to have Theo, we were pleased with the work and we wish him well going forward.

“I don’t regret playing him more. We played him at the right time, it was spot on. He arrived with a terrible bout of illness. When he came in we had to build him back up and he was physically drained.

“We got him to a level where he was exceptional. That’s where we’re at. We aided his development. He was never our player to dictate where he was going to go.

“You look at the wingbacks Wolves play. It’s similar. We have different styles and systems, the wingback system was more forced upon us and we’ll adopt different systems along the way with different players.

“We play the same way as Wolves now. It was what we needed to do at the time and have played well in that system.”

Explains the difficulties caused by Covid etc - expects a surge across the leagues towards the end of the window.

“It’s a challenging time but we just have to get on with it. We’ll continue to try to work hard and do so. We have to carry on with what we’ve got.

“We are looking to readdress the balance if it is possible to do so. But there are a number of parties to work with to get the deals over the line.”

Darren is here - first question is on injuries

The boys have been back out there training and injury-wise we have one or two that are getting back into it, but one or two might not quite make it despite the training.

We’ll review the list and see where we are.

Josh is in contention. Mide is not in contention. Chey won’t be in contention. Jack is, Kamberi is a possible.
