The Owls haven’t kicked a ball in anger in the league since their New Year’s Day win over Derby County at Hillsborough due to a Covid-19 outbreak at the club which forced the postponement of this fixture on January 16 and the game at Wycombe Wanderers four days later.

Wednesday have played two games in the FA Cup this month, most recently the 3-0 reverse at Everton on Sunday – their first defeat in all competitions since they were beaten 2-0 at Nottingham Forest in mid-December.
