Neil Warnock comments on potential Kadeem Harris swoop amid Middlesbrough interest in Sheffield Wednesday man
Middlesborough manager, Neil Warnock, has been linked with a move for Sheffield Wednesday attacker, Kadeem Harris, and has been asked about his thoughts on a potential move.
Harris will see his Wednesday contract expire at the end of the season and has now entered into the last few months of his deal, alerting a host of clubs to the fact that he will be available as a free agent in the not-so-distant future.
The 27-year-old is one of a whole host of Owls that will be on their way at the end of the season as things stand, with Barry Bannan the only player to date that has put pen to paper on a deal beyond the current campaign.
Warnock’s Boro, as well as Reading, Stoke City and Watford, have all been linked with Harris ahead of next season, but the winger’s former Cardiff City manager wouldn’t be drawn into making any concrete statements at this stage.
As quoted by Teesside Live, “I’m looking at bringing a few players into the club this summer… But you know better than to ask me about individuals. I would imagine there will be a few more names than Kadeem over the next few weeks and months. I’m sure there will be plenty more names mentioned.”
Harris is expected to feature for Wednesday against Norwich City this weekend, and he’ll be hoping to end the season on a high under Darren Moore – regardless of where he might be playing his football in 2020/21.
