Sheffield Wednesday were held to a goalless draw by League Two Accrington Stanley in their first friendly of the day.

The Owls travelled to The Wham Stadium on Saturday lunchtime before taking on Oldham Athletic at 4pm.

In game of few chances, new Wednesday stopper, Connal Trueman, saved comfortably from Isaac Sinclair and Alex Henderson. The visitors put a couple of slick moves together in the first-half but clear-cut chances were hard to come by.

Here are our player ratings from the game...

Replaced Cooper at half-time but was forced off with a shoulder injury just five minutes in. Left the pitch with his arm in a sling.
