Garry Monk fielded a very young Owls team, handing a debut to teenager, Liam Waldock, that was unable to stand up to a strong Fulham side who were clinical with their chances and secured their place in the next round. SWFC will now turn their focus back to the Championship.
1. Joe Wildsmith - 7
Didn't put a foot wrong, and made two really good saves. Was at no fault for the Fulham goals and did his job very well when called upon. Photo: Steve Ellis
2. Julian Borner - 5
Not an awful performance, but not a great one either from the German. Looked decent in possession, but was caught out a few times by the Fulham attack. Photo: Steve Ellis
3. Liam Shaw - 5
A mostly solid performance from young Shaw, but was caught out a bit for the opening goal and was certainly under a lot more pressure from these Fulham forwards than he was against Rochdale. Photo: via @SWFC | Steve Ellis
4. Ciaran Brennan - 5
Another decent showing from the youngster, but he did struggle a little bit against the Fulham attackers. Not a bad performance by any stretch, but he did look a tad out of his depth against a strong Premier League attack. Photo: Steve Ellis
