Sheffield Wednesday is a silly football club full of madness and contradictions. A little soft in the underbelly? They won it, lost it and then won it late again. Unable to put away chances? They scored three. Playing the unbeaten top of the league title hopefuls? They took three points.
Performances have been building and luck not quite on their side in recent weeks. It felt as though a win was coming, though not many would have picked out West Bromwich Albion as the side to taste defeat. A 2-0 half-time lead was levelled-off late before Anthony Musaba capped off an eventful substitute cameo to take the win.
A satisfactory day out in the sunshine, then. Featuring plenty of high numbers, have yourself some player ratings from Sheffield Wednesday’s 3-2 win over West Brom.

9. Josh Windass - 8
Popped up with the most pinpoint little penguin header you could imagine to bag his second of the season. Pressed intelligently and with the bit between this teeth ran and ran. | UGC

10. Olaf Kobacki - 6
Will have ups and downs at this stage of his career and he had that in this game itself. Defensively hard-working and pressed diligently but suffered one or two issues going the other way. Some nice touches. Off on the hour. | UGC

11. Iké Ugbo - 6
Led the line diligently and pressed with heart. One or two touches let him down - he didn't manage a shot before his 70th minute substitute - but another worthwhile outing. | UGC

12. Max Lowe - 7
On for Kobacki with half an hour to go in a left-side shuffle-up. First action was to block a dangerous-looking cross - could've got tighter for the cross that led to Maja's header. My days what a nudge in the build-up to the winner. | UGC
