A 2-0 victory over Rotherham United on Sunday got the monkey off their back in terms of their winless start to the season, however it’s been five games since they even scored a goal away from home, and you have to go back to April’s win over Shrewsbury Town to find their last win at an away stadium.
It’s clear that manager, Danny Röhl, isn’t afraid to shift things about - he’s already used a back three and a back four - but as the old saying goes, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.
There may well be a couple of tweaks to his XI, maybe a change here or there, but here is the XI that we think the German might go for at Ashton Gate tomorrow:

5. Di’Shon Bernard - LCB
It was another classy performance from the former Manchester United man as he returned to the starting XI last time out, and he feels like a real asset to the Owls. | Ellis / UGC

6. Reece James - LWB
Back in the XI on Sunday, and he certainly did his chances of another start no harm at all. Was praised by Röhl afterwards, and you could see him starting again. | Ellis / UGC

7. George Byers - DM
Byers is being asked to play the defensive midfield role by the manager, and with his skillset it’s not too surprising. His ability to play in that number six position is clear, and he did it brilliantly in the last game. | Getty / UGC

8. Barry Bannan - CM
The link man. Bannan, the skipper, is there to be the connector in the the heart of the midfield, and nobody else in the side has the ability to pick a pass or unlock a defence like he can. | UGC / Steve Ellis
