Achraf Lazaar, who spent time on loan at Hillsborough in 2019, has terminated his contract at Newcastle United by mutual consent.

It signals an end to torrid four-and-a-half years at St James' Park, where he made just nine first-team appearances.

The Moroccan can only sign with another club before the summer IF his contract was cancelled inside the January transfer window, which closed on Monday night.
