Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United transfer deadline day RECAP: Owls leave it late, Blades left short

Deadline Day has been and gone but there’s one thing left hanging at Sheffield Wednesday after their dramatic 11th hour move for Davis Keillor-Dunn.

The Owls made a late push for the Wrexham attacker and while it’s not been confirmed, it’s expected that he’ll be a Wednesday player, following up on the confirmation of jaden Heskey’s arrival earlier in the day.

Over at United, they brought in Liam Kitching to bolster the backline but sold Callum O’Hare wihtout managing to bring in a replacement.
