Some of the players who turned out for the Blades that day have gone onto management and personal training, while one tours clubs speaking about his drugs past and another is available to hire via a ‘talent booking’ website.
Here’s what happened to the Blades’ class of 2001 from that game...

14. George Santos
Like Suffo, he was sent off in the Battle of Bramall Lane and like D'Jaffo, he later did some scouting for the Blades. He can now be 'booked' via talent agency M2NS, with his profile saying he is known to fans as "King George" Photo: Andrew Partridge
15. Ryan Mallon
The forward played for clubs including Halifax Town, Scarborough and Worksop after coming through United's academy. He is now a personal trainer, specialising in bodybuilding, strength and conditioning, and health and fitness. Photo: Andrew Partridge
16. Paul Devlin
Devlin made more appearances for the Blades than any other club in his career, before moving back to his hometown club Birmingham City in 2002. He still keeps a close eye on all things Blades, as a former teammate of current boss Chris Wilder Photo: JP
