9. David Weir, June 2013 to October 2013
Scotsman Weir lasted only four months at the helm and was sacked after United were beaten at home by League Two side Hartlepool United in the Football League Trophy. He won just one of his 13 games in charge to have a win percentage of 7.69 per cent. Photo: Gareth Copley
10. Nigel Clough, October 2013 to May 2015
The son of Brian's highlight in charge was guiding League One United to the FA Cup semi-finals in 2014 against Hull City. Clough was named FA Cup Manager of the Season by the League Managers' Association in recognition of his side's run to the last four. 11. Nigel Adkins, June 2015 to May 2016
Adkins oversaw United's lowest league position since 1983 when they finished 11th in League One in 2016, eight points from the play-offs. He was sacked at the end of the season. He won 22 of his 54 games, with a 40.74 per cent win record. Photo: OLI SCARFF
12. Chris Wilder - May 2016 to present
Former player and boyhood fan Wilder has enjoyed a stunning return to the club as manager, guiding the Blades to two promotions in three seasons and leading them to within touching distance of Champions League qualification when the Premier League season was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
