The two teams have never faced each other before and it should be quite an occasion at Telford United's SEAH Stadium with Wolves playing at home in WSL2 for the first time.

Both sides are coming off the back of opening day defeats last week with United anrrowly losing out to Leicester City at Bramall Lane, while Wolves’ WSL2 debut saw them lose away to Newcastle United.

While the Blades were obviously disappointed to have been edged out by Leicester, the mood in the camp afterwards and through the week in preparation for Wolves, has been positive mainly due to the acceptance that it will take a little time for new players to settle into the side.

Arsenal loanee Sophie Harwood was one of those who made her first appearance in the red and white of United last weekend and she recognises that there is plenty of room for improvement in the coming games.

"I think we can all see the potential this team has got when you look further ahead into the season,” she told the club’s website. “That was the first time we've all played together competitively, so I think it's an exciting prospect for developing our style of play and also what is hopefully to come over the next few weeks and beyond."

"I think we're really focusing on our final third opportunities and really making the most of the chances we've got,” she added. “Creating as much as we can, and hopefully it will be a good test to put into practice the things we've been working on."

Last week’s match also marked a first for Harwood herself, with the match against Leicester her first at this level.

"It was my first 90 minutes in the senior football, so first and foremost it was a good experience for me, to gain those minutes and experience, and have a match at this level was really good for me<” he said.

"I was really happy to walk out at Bramall Lane in front of all our fans, first game of the season, first season here for me at our home, it was amazing, and I was happy with my defensive contributions - the tackle stat was a nice one!"
