Blades v QPR LIVE
Foderingham has to be alert
to claim the ball after it came over the top and threatened to set Dykes free
Baldock is inches away
from receiving a good pass from Norwood, but he just can’t stretch enough to get it and in the end he concedes a throw-in rather than a goal kick to keep QPR penned in
Almost a chance for McBurnie
as a risky back header from a QPR defender - the numbers are shocking on their shirts so no idea who - gives the striker a sniff, but Westwood is there to claim it and stop himself sliding out of his area with the ball
Great bit of interplay
sees McBurnie backheel the ball nicely to MGW, who wins the free-kick from his man - but it comes to nothing
GOAL BLADES
AND it’s Ollie Norwood who gets it, a well-worked corner routine sees Baldock dummy the corner and Norwood sidefoot it home through the crowd of players and past Westwood - 10th minute and it’s the early lead that the Blades will have wanted
Free-kick Blades
as MGW is fouled - Fleck takes it deep and aims towards Uremovic, but Westwood tips it away from danger
We’re under way
at the Lane - great reception for the new boy Filip Uremovic as his name is read out pre-match
Your thoughts on that team news, Blades fans?
Three changes and they all make a lot of sense for me - RND’s end product hasn’t been where United may want it to be recently and so Stevens comes in, while dropping Robinson may be a little harsh but a back three of Uremovic, Egan and Ben Davies does have a better balance to it. McBurnie starting up front was a no-brainer - the Blades’ only fit and senior striker, and what better time to end his goal drought than in such a big game in terms of the Blades’ top-six hopes?
