Blades v QPR LIVE

and Bramall Lane holds its breath ... he looks like his race is run and it’s ANOTHER defensive injury problem for the Blades

Good challenge by Wallace

halts Gibbs-White in his tracks as he looks to race on to a good ball through and race clear

So nearly genius from MGW

as he spots an opening and tries to dink the ball over Westwood, he hits it too well and it goes just over

after cutting in from the left inside Uremovic, he’s aiming for the near bottom corner but it’s off target and Foderingham watches it wide

and Fleck hits it deep to Berge, who recycles it and Egan comes in at the back post but can’t get his effort on target

and the Blades lead at the break courtesy of Norwood’s opener - they were good value for most of that half, in control, but QPR started to come back into it towards the end of the half and the break may have come at a good time for the Blades there. QPR had a very good chance on the stroke of half-time when Hendrick couldn’t make good enough contact with a header from close range, and the Blades will look to get the job done in the second half.

a left-wing cross is stood up nicely into the middle, Hendrick gets a head to it but only the top and he flicks it away rather than goalwards - we’re into one minute of injury time now and the visitors have improved towards the end of the half

to nutmeg his man and feed Berge down the right, he drives round his marker and wins a corner which is cleared away before MGW wins another free-kick in a decent crossing position... but it’s scrambled clear

Berge drives half the length of the field

before having a go, his shot is blocked but it would have been some goal

McBurnie heads goalwards from

a cross from MGW on the outside of his boot, but the power isn’t there on the cross and it’s held easily by Westwood - not much more the striker could have done there, and he’s started well here
